920 stuck at cog wheels, bricked?

Follow this guide and you should be all good. Same thing happened to me and that guide saved my 920.

It works - I followed that guide a few days ago to restore my bro's restore - bricked 920. Just download navifirm and use it to download the ROM for your phone - you will need a product code to download the ROM though - which version 920 do you have? Is it AT&T version or International version? I can help you find the right product code for your phone.

What about the hacked Nokia Care Suite with ROMs from the "how to install Amber on your L920 in 12 easy steps" thread?

Wouldn't this process also unbrick a device?

Why is everyone talking about problems with 920 only? i got same **** on my 820, but when my cogwheels dissapeared phone died. i have to take battery out and put back to be abble to get the nokia symbol up, after that it dies again. ****tiest phone ive ever had to be honest
