A couple of n00b questions

I've had my Samsung Focus for a grand total of one day, beautiful phone, but so far one major annoyance is the lack of sync to Outlook. Is there any workaround, other than the hotmail sync? The hotmail plug-in crashes my Outlook. I've tried creating a new profile, still the same problem.

The other question - how do I turn on Bing turn-by-turn navigation? Bing maps gives my location, and directions show the route, but I don't get the voice directions and I haven't been able to figure it out.

I don't sync with outlook so I don't have an answer for that one. as for Bing the current version does not have turn by turn navigation.

Really? I've seen several videos online which show turn-by-turn nav with WP7. Was that removed from the current bing??

I guess so because as far as I know we have never had real turn by turn and most certainly no voice guided ones.

There's an app called A to B that provides turn by turn nav, using ESRI ArcGIS. It was made for demonstration purposes by works pretty well. Some WP7 phones also come with Telenav GPS, which works well but requires a subscription or one-day fees.

I guess it was on WM 6.x only, not on 7. Probably at the request of AT&T. ^*%*!!
