A problem in "Highest Connection Speed" after denim update Lumia 925

I have just finished the Denim update for my Lumia 925 successfully except that I can't change the connection speed to 3G because this option in Cellular+SIM setting is not activated. I did the following trying to solve the problem:
1. I tried to soft reset the phone
2. I replaced the SIM with another one for another carrier.
but the problem still exists.
What should I do ? Is the problem from the phone or a bug in the new update?
 
Lumia 925 after Denim update.

So after updating my 925 to Denim. The connection is limited to 2G I can't change it to 3G. The bar where you choose the "highest connection speed" isn't active! Has anybody faced something like that?

Gentlemen, have you tried the Hard Reset option?

Most probably it's a bug in the new update.
 
You can try field test mode and change your connection speed
Dial ##3282# > accept> go to options ...>change network speed
you can set to 2g / 3g / 4g depending on carrier.

It will force to connect only at those speeds. So if you have a weak 4g or 3g you may need to change to 2g etc or vice versa.

I have this problem too, does any body find a way to fix it??
 
And how would I do that?

Options are this

1) Contact Microsoft/Nokia Care in you area
2) Contact Carrier and report this issue has well if carrier branded phone
3) Contact Microsoft via User Forums and report issue there

The other option is to reflash phone with ROM that does not have denim on it.
 
Did someone already do a hard reset?
I know that in India the 4G was disabled with DENIM because they use other bands but this should not be the case for you guys.
 
I have tried hard reset and it did well. The problem has been fixed and it is now ok. :grin:

I tweeted the problem to Microsoft Lumia Egypt, they didn't respond yet.
 
Did you get the latest update after hard reset? I guess if get the update it will happen again!! because it happened with the upgrade.

Yes I got the Denim update after the hard reset but with the problem solved. The only thing you should worry about is to make sure you have a backup to restore after this operation.
