A sad day...finally giving up on Windows Phone :(

I went from a Lumia 640 to the OP5T about two weeks ago. Even though I wasn't a heavy user, the vibrate stopped working on my 640, apps often crashed right after opening, and it just seemed to be slow (granted I got it for $40 on a Black Friday deal a couple years ago...). Add to it that several apps I used dropped and my company no longer provided a way for Windows Mobile users to access work email.

I still prefer the Windows UI, but I'm happy with the new phone. It's unbelievably fast (can't say that enough), nice screen, and has decent launcher. Face unlock is super convenient, the fingerprint scanner works well, and it supports double-tap - I almost never see the lock screen. I'm still tinkering with all of the available settings/options, but it's a keeper for me.

I left windows phones several years ago, because the windows os was getting buggier and buggier, to the point that w10m was mostly unusable.

The only thing I really liked was the live tiles and Cortana, and the Moto voice and extremely advanced Google Assistant on my current phone do more than Cortana ever dreamed of. And I really didn't miss the live tiles for long either. My wife is still using a 640xl which is giving her constant problems, and she's getting jealous of my Android phone that's been through 3 os upgrades and many many security updates and just keeps plugging along trouble free

She's a die hard windows phone fan, but she's finally about ready to switch. I would love to come back to a windows phone when they make something stable and reliable that's well supported. I would REALLY love full windows 10 plus cellular capabilities in my pocket, but I won't be rushing back to buy the first thing I see, I'm going to wait quite a while before picking up another windows cellular device
