Alternate soft reset method?

Is there another way to soft reset your phone other than pulling the sim cover? My phone right now stalled while playing a podcast and the buttons/screen are non responsive. A soft reset should fix this. I pulled the sim cover thinking it would soft reset the phone but nothing happens.

I suppose I could wait for the battery to drain, but the Radar's battery lasts forever, and I just fully charged it.

Thanks, but none of the buttons are responsive. I was hoping there would be some other hardware shortcut method for a soft reset.

Just press down on the power button keep holding it down for about 20 seconds and the phone will power down.
