Black vs White. Which theme do you use?

I have been using black, but would love to use white. Problem is I think it will eat my battery on my 1520

On LCD screens, such as the 1520, white OR black uses the same amount of battery. The entire screen is backlit either way on LCDs.

Now if you had an AMOLED screen, what you said would be true, as white would require every pixel to be "on", but with "black", the black pixels are actually "off", and it only powers the individual pixels you need.

white looks better on my L830. I love whites on that display :)
on 1520..anything looks cool. Depends on the mood :)
(because black here is greyish in angles)

Black, my battery life is bad enough without using white. Also the brightness is too high at night using white.
I wish FB would have a black background.

Brightness is too high in white. I always prefer black, even on my 1320.
It would've been great if MS gave brightness profile to every phone with cyan update.

By respect to my 1020 AMOLED screen, I only use the dark theme. Oh and my 1020 is black too, so black theme on it looks absolutely gorgeous!

I regularly use black. I sometimes switch to white, but keep getting back to black. Black is so beautiful with an Amoled screen and the WP UI. Lumia 735. All my apps have the black theme too. Except when I can't change the theme in an app.

I sometimes like the white one but keep going back to black as i think it looks better. The fact that the white eats battery on my L925, motivates me to stick with black

I use the white theme on pretty much every Windows Phone that doesn't b*tch about it affecting the battery life (which - so far - has only been the 520 and 830).

These two phones don't have AMOLED, so they don't say anything when switching to light theme.
