"Broken" Battery ?

Since i learned how to flash my phone with a new rom (about 4 months ago or so) i have been constantly flashing my phone with a new rom every 2 weeks or so (sometimes flashed just because i was bored) to see which rom gives me the best battery life because this has always been my problem (neither of those roms never gave me more than 8 hours of battery life with light use).
My question : Is it possible that constantly flashing my phone for 4 months has broken my battery and the only way to have good battery life now is to change it ? Or do i just need to calibrate the battery ? (i have never calibrated my battery;and if so how?)

I don't think flashing roms will hurt the battery, I don't know if its good for your phone though... and I don't think you can calibrate the battery.
