I've never had the problem you speak of as alot of others have not as well. /shrug

But over generalizing is bad practice, notice I've never said wp8 is perfect

I have an AT&T lumia 920 that I got on launch day
Issues I am currently having:

1. poor battery performance w/ bluetooth on
I would like to leave bluetooth on at all times so when I am getting in/out of my truck I dont have to turn it on/off. I believe the battery drain comes largely from the "discoverable" mode being on at all times as opposed to other phones where you have to toggle discovery.

2. brightness bug (post portico)
Upon reset/restart the brightness goes to max, independent of the system setting. I have to toggle high and then low for it to reset. All user recommended fixes do not work...

Set mail sync to "all" (instead of 7 days/1 Month), and it will download 100 Megabytes per day (!!) over the mobile network if you have lots of mail in your account. Looks like it syncs the whole database instead of just the delta. Can anyone confirm this?

I risk to pay 10 $ per day for excess data usage due to this bug. Incredible.

Not a bug, but a missing feature: How to search mails on an imap server? (By sender, subject, receiver, or even message content). Or did I miss something?

Lowest screen brightness setting is still far too bright. Can't use it in a dark bedroom without waking up other people...

Low brightness is too low in my opinion. I turned off auto brightness and set to medium because I can never see jack when it's on low.

Good list. I'm using lumia 920 grey color for the last one week. I don't have any problem. Very good phone.

First phone froze/became completely unresponsive on more than one occasion. Have had second/replacement phone for about a week and it has happened twice already now with this one. Third phone is on the way. I don't know why this continues to be a problem, but it is very discouraging and I am rapidly losing faith in the device altogether.

The phone seems to randomly become completely unresponsive and it takes several tries at hard resetting it to finally bring it back from the dead. I have no idea what's causing it. It happened last night during the night while charging via USB, good thing I checked it when I got up because I would have missed my alarm from it being dead.

Is anyone else having a problem with not being able to use the screen during a call. My 920 is fine at all other times however as soon as a receive/make a call i can no longer use the screen. Pushing the unlock button makes the screen flash for a second. When the other person hangs up everything goes back to normal. Tried resetting my phone but no effect.

I just got my Lumia 920 and I noticed the capasitive buttons are yellow, not white, when having them light. Is this the same in your phones, or do I have something to worry about?

yes worry about it, I sent mine back, so different from my first, gonna be my 4th Lumia 920, lights supposed to be white, not yellow,bothered me so bad

My only problem with the Lumia920 is the crashing Email app and the endless Sync..... today found this article here http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-phone-8/202305-2.htm and uninstalled then Skype - now it works great again!

Hope that there will be an update very soon to fix that so i can re-install skype

What i miss:
Cell strength and energy display anytime on top of screen.....

Photo files would become corrupt and not show in the camera roll, being only accessible by connecting to a PC, even then some are completely unreadable.

I don't know if this happened to anyone, but apparently, if I'm at a place where there's no signal at all, my phone will go into a boot loop.
This always happens when I put my 920 inside my locker (metal ones). Boot loop also happens when the device is constantly switching from E to G, etc (happened inside at MS store lol)

So here's a test for you guys, go into a dead spot and see if your phone goes into a boot loop.
Probably the root cause of the boot loop is when the device is actively looking for a signal, and tries to switch from G, 2G, 3G, and vice versa..

Actually, it's supposed to be "off white", not like pure yellow. If it is indeed pure yellow like a lemon, then you have a problem.

I know what u mean, it wasn't off white, it was tan. my new one came in today and way better, 4th one and they finally got it right! And no creaking noises either now

I have an odd problem with my Nokia Lumia 920. I noticed over the past few days since the Portico update, my Lumia has been constantly cutting out after a few seconds in audio within every app. The drive app doesn't speak the full directions but cuts out randomly and never says the entire direction, the music starts playing but then cuts out and then when switching to new songs doesn't play at all after the initial song. Rebooting doesn't help. Soft resetting doesn't help either. Is this a software problem? I'm getting fed up with it. Everything else works beautifully, but I really want to use my music player and drive app too. I've had the odd random reboot problem everyone has had while plugged in to power at work and on WiFi with 4G data switched off. Charger has the three second delay between plugging in and notification that its been plugged in. Battery life is ok, brightness changes automatically but not sure if its correctly set per lighting scenario. I miss listening to audio on my phone, please help! Also someone mentioned his 4GB + files weren't copying to his PC with Windows 7 Pro. Does he have FAT32 partitioned on his HD or NTFS? NTFS allows for larger file sizes than 4GB while FAT32 does not.
