Cant find my photos

[Windows Central Question]

I took pictures and sent some of them to my sister via bluetooth so from there onwards i cant find them ,even if you go to the photos app only small grey boxes appear or cant get picture try again later.Can it be my sdcard with a problem or what?If you take pictures now they all disappear again.How can i recover all my photos?

Yes, it's most likely a faulty SD Card. You're lucky if you were even able to send them, since faulty SD Cards can no longer be written on (photos won't be saved on an SD Card once it starts to fail).

You may try recovering them through a photo recovery software from your PC (connect your SD card to your PC). If you have auto-upload on, then you should find them in your OneDrive account. If you were actually able to send them via Bluetooth, then just copy them back.

Other than that, it appears that those photos have been lost.
