Couldn't update please help

i tried to download wp8.1 preview 4 times but each time when installation reached 96% an error came " the update was downloaded but couldn't be opened ( 8007000d) ... please help i am very nervous..


EDIT: (SOLUTION) I did a factory reset and it again showed the same error . THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO REFLASH THE FIRMWARE .

soft reset your phone and then download the update again make sure your internet connection is good and if that doesn't solve the problem please let us know your phone model

i tried soft reseting but same error came ... i have lumia 920

Are you downloading it through Wi-Fi?? I'd most definitely recommend restarting your router

i tried one time with one wifi and next 3 times with different wifi on different days

You can hard reset your phone if it's not much trouble to you.... It's an image validation error..!!
Do you have enough storage on your phone?

i hav 6gb free ... image validation error ... can you tell more about it .. and will hard reset fix it ??

It should fix it....image validation occurs when an image file needed for updating is corrupted/missing....it can be your phones image too....so a hard reset is likely to fix it!

most probably windows media player! :| i'm not so sure about it though and Zune doesn't recognize wp8 phones tough luck!
