Country variants

Hey.

I live in Sweden and over here all the 1520's is out of stock. I just bought a yellow one from the UK. What I'm wondering is if it will be the same RM-number and product code as our Swedish versions. I know the phone will work but what I'm concerned about are the languages and if there is anything country-specific I will have to know about. I know with my old symbian-devices I could just download and flash a different firmware and product code, can you do the same with WP?

AFAIK and from my experience, yes, you can. And no, the languages are not country-specific, Swedish (sverige) is also on my phone which was bought in Germany, so you don't have to be concerned about anything .

I'm from Chile, south america, and my 1520 was from HK. No problem at all, but you can always change the rom to match your phone to your country variant with Nokia Care Suite.

Ok, thank you for your quick reply. I think it will turn out perfectly. Originally I wanted the white one, but unfortunately I couldn't find it anywhere. Too bad because the white one was one sexy phone!
