Display on notifications

Hey guys, is there any way for turning off the display on notifications. I don't know if I said it right but I mean that thing when anytime I recieve a sms, messenger, whatsapp or viber message the display turns on for a few secs, showing the notification, I checked almost everything in settings and I'm probably blind for that option so I'll be really glad if someone can help me here :winktongue:

No there isn't . As an when the notification appears the display lights up. You can't customize that.

Thank you for the quick answer, Kaushik. I hope they make option for this, because it's kinda annoying but we'll have it that way for now

Yes... you can!!!!

Just turn off the banner notification for that app in Action Centre.... That way notifications are still collected, but the screen doesn't 'light up'.

Is this because the screen unlocks in your pocket? If so, try having the display facing outward, that eliminates the problem
