Also, a friend just told me that the officiall Twitter app has no reason to be in the background tasks unless you use it's Lockscreen option. Push messages will still be recieved even if you Block it in backgr. tasks, i tested it and it works fine..

I go to bed with a fully charged Nokia Lumia 1020 (100%) but when I wake up, the battery is at 21% WHY!?!?!?!?

The only app I have set to use the background is Facebook. What is going on?!

I am too. I am use Lumia 920. When after fully charger. I restart battery is drop to 21% and then i restart again battery back to 95%. Why ??? It happen after black update.

And sometimes battery on my L720 works 2 days in pretty radical conditions.

Happens on my lumia 620. Whenever there is no network available or i am on a call, battery starts heating up and drains like hell. Switching battery saver ON helps a bit.

I have now got Black / GDR3 on my Lumia 820 and the random battery drain is still there. When are Microsoft and Nokia going to sort this out?

I do understand if I delete my battery app that it helps resolve the problem but I would like Microsoft and Nokia to fix the issue. When I first got my Lumia 820 I never had the random battery drain, but since GDR1 I have had it so it has to be something that they have introduced in the update and not fixed in the subsequent ones.

One of my frnds got Lumia Black on his 920 and he says the battery life has become fantastic after the update
