Docked and undocked with 2 monitors windows 10

[Windows Central Question]

I have new HP EliteBook and docking station. I have two additional monitors hooked up to the docking station both using the tow display ports in the dock. My goal is to have the laptop lid down when docked and use one of the additional monitors as the main display and the other extended. I would like Windows 10 to remember this so that nothing has to be reconfigured each time I dock. Any help would be great. Thanks - Paul

All you have to do is click on action center > Project and select the Extend. I think it should remember this if the monitors get detected as something other than generic. Otherwise they are not sending the information back via hdmi and may require drivers.
