facebook chat wasn't working through i message app so i tried to delete my fb account.....after sometime i tried but i got the same erreor message i have lumia 520 with gdr3...any solutions???

man , my fb account in people`s hub never troubled me , but yesterday i tried to sync my fb account , it is now showing the error 83cf1104!
i guess there`s some problem ms devs are trying to fix with the hub!
hopefully it will be fixed sooner!
i use my fb account only from my wp8 phone dese days!
b/w i`m using it in india!

I am getting the same error with my Brazilian Lumia 620 GDR3 + Amber. Was working just fine, but today morning I hard reseted it and I am getting Sync Error: 83CF1104 since then.

I got the same error 83cf1104 after i did a hard reset, it drove me crazy but finally i got it work,
after many account removes and re-adding, another hard reset, what made it sync all my contacts was,
add your facebook account the normal way,
go to messaging and into settings turn off "use facebook chat"
go into People, then settings scroll down to the bottom, press and hold your facebook account and press sync,

for some reason it works there and not in the accounts section,
once thats complete go back to messaging and turn on "use facebook chat"
and its back to normal

My Facebook account is syncing now. Seems the problem is fixed that was preventing it from syncing. At least it is working on my NL1020 in USA.

Seems MS solved it, recently everything just went fine, all contacts now up to date
