French Canadian??

Hello

Since I've installed Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, I'm forced to use French (France) as a language when in fact I'm in Canada. That forces me to update manually all the setting for it to become French Canadian. Not only that, I'm forced to keep two languages on my phone because I can't uninstall the France language.

How can I get French Canadian?

Have you tried setting Canada as the region and French (Canada) for the language, keyboard and regional format?

That looks to me the best settings.

Yes that's what I have to do after the first launch. But I still have to keep France as the phone language which seems to screw with Xbox Video that warns me everytime I launch it that my phone region is different than the region on my account and to relaunch the app. That's kind of annoying. :/

On WP8 there was a French Canadian language in the initial settings.

Does changing your region in MS settings (website) make much difference? It's under personal details.

You mean set my Xbox account to France to see if I still see the warning?

Nip into Outlook/Hotmail and go into account settings. I think the region setting in there dictates what the phone picks up during initial setup.

But the video format in France is different than the format in Canada. So if I'm not mistaken, if I change the region in my account to France (it's already set to French Canadian) I won't get videos in the right format.
