Along similar lines since your phone was branded "German T-Mobile" variant. Try changing your region to german and see if it works.

Mine is a Black RM-821 Lumia 920 with german T-Mobile ROM.

Consider looking for Product Codes here.

And ALWAYS follow a tutorial to change the ROM.
