Google Account not syncing on Lumia 710

Hi

I have just bought a Lumia 710 and It wont sync my google account, i managed to sync my gmail through 'other' in accounts but there is no way to do calendar. Anyone know a fix to this problem? its a big pain to be honest. i cant get on with using the phone until this stuff is sorted.

What problems were you having syncing your Google Account through the normal Google profile in Email + Accounts?

is it still woking properly? Do you have any issues? I suppose you are not using imap, is that right?
