I got WP blue update, it's a bit buggy but works as good as GDR2 IYKWIM.

Hold on man, you got wp blue update? What exactly is that supposed to mean? Wp 8.1 update?

You should just wait, brother. Since your device is from Malaysia, then it registered as malaysian phone, even you are now in India or any other country, it does not mean you are getting update from where the country you lived in.Its depend on your phone hardware, even you are flashing the India FW, your phone will be getting update based on Malaysia region.

changed the whole screen, something about 1st batch giving that problem.
anyways, im still with the same firmware, i think amber is coming out next month for us man...

This is the reason why read every post in the thread carefully is important , someone already mention in india their phone is up to date when check using 620 and 920. I am from indonesia but my lumia 520 up to date too.
So we can conclude that the update only available for nokia lumia 520 India region. We havent inform yet that the update is GDR2, but the truth is vichuhit has an update notification on his 'phone update" section in his settings

My friend who has L920 got this update too...strange thing is that you get notified only if you manually search for it between 11PM & 2AM IST...i may be wrong
