....picked one up at bhphotovideo.com for $289 for my daughter. It's an awesome phone for the money. Put a 64gb SD card in. She has converted 3 friends over from crApple.

I'm looking at one of these also, not sure if it is worth the move from my 920 though. How is the battery life for your daughter? any input on that from her?

The battery life on my 920 is not so good.

I have a 830 and just recently (a little over a week ago) got a new 920 to try.
The 830 is the same as the 730/735, spec wise, basically, just a larger LCD screen and more premium build, 16G instead of 8G for the 730/735.
I can tell you for sure, that in all regards, other than battery life, the 920 eats my 830 for lunch.
Much better phone, snappier, faster, completely problem free, better screen (though a little smaller, the 830 is 5 inches).
For the last 3 or 4 days now, my 830 has been powered off, in it's box, sitting on a book shelf. :)

I would recommend keeping your 920 for a while and see what MS comes out with next.
Simply get a new battery for it if it's lost too much capacity by now. Simply to replace, just 3 screens, probably 10 mins at most.

I love my L735. I also have an Icon supplied by work, and while the Icon is the clearly superior phone I'm glad I bought the L735 for my personal phone as it is a great value in performance, display, and capability standpoint. With moderate use, including using SensorCore for pedometer, FB, 5 email with short intervals or push, NextGen Reader, full brightness, and almost 100 installed apps all with background data on where applicable, I am at 70% battery 15.5 hours later with no mid-day charges.

All that said, if you can replace the battery on the L920, why not try that and wait a few more weeks. The L735 isn't going anywhere.
