Help! Can't find my USB-C cable!

When I received my 950XL a couple of months ago I plugged in the AC charger in a permanent spot to charge said phone. The other USB-C data cable I put somewhere but now I can't find it. Any ideas where to look?

While I'm trying to find the cable I ordered a 3rd-party one from Amazon. Interestingly Microsoft's recommendation is NOT to use a 3rd party cable but when I checked their online store in hopes of obtaining the "official" USB-C cable the only cable they offer is an Incipio branded one.

Wish I could tell you where to look. Various PCs? Work PC? Home office PC? Only suggestions I can offer.

As for 3rd party USB cables, don't know if you've seen this, but a Google engineer has done a boatload of reviews of some USB type C cables. Some are bad - ruin your equipment bad. Worth reading a bit. Google engineer fries Pixel testing USB Type-C cable

Thanks for the link.Turns out I ordered the cable from Anker which is a positive 5-star review from Benson!
Good idea about work PC. I use an Aukey Qi charge pad but maybe I brought the cable there as backup in case the pad didn't work. Will have to look tomorrow.

I ended up finding it. Turns out it was in the first place I looked but overlooked until I double/triple/quadruple-checked. The cable was tangled up among my laptop power brick and mouse cords in my laptop backpack! Doh!
