How to turn off skype messages off on messenging app?

I'm using the windows 10 tech preview on my Lumia 640. Whenever I get a message on Skype, which is alot, I get a text too. How do I turn that off? It's really annoying considering I also have the Skype app, and it doesn't annoy me with notifications.

Open your Skype app and in settings make it as default.

open messaging app and in settings disable the skype setup / log out of it.

When I do that all it does is ask me for my phone number and to find friends. It doesn't give me an option to log out.

Nevermind I had to go all te way through the setup.
