How many of you LOVE the 830

Update fixes a critical issue that may cause your device to periodically reboot

Oh. I just read that in the article. Thanks.
Was eagerly waiting for the migration steps to complete hoping it to be the Update 2

Well it is not a bad choise for the price with good battery life and camera. But the back cover is flimsy and make noise. Besides it is very slow particulary the never ending screen "Resuming" and crashes when you try to switch back to an app.

I really don't see these issues on mine. The only real issue I had was dead pixels on the screen.

I'm loving it the more I use it. Sure its a mid-range phone, but it fits my needs. Perfect size, weight, and battery life is very good!

I have a 950 but my backup is my beautiful 830.

I find nothing (repeat "nothing") lacking with this device and still think it is the best overall design i have owned.

I noticed it heats up just a bit, but no more than my other Lumia: 640xl and 950.

It is sturdy and sleek. Windows 10
(14393) runs as smoothly as butter on it, and to this day I am always and ever considering making the 950 my new backup handset.

Everywhere I see, there are just folks hating on the 830, saying it's cheaply built, or has disappointing specs, etc.

So how many of you LOVE this device?

I've been considering it since spec/feature wise Lumia lines top three phones are the 1520,930, and 830, and they go, 1520=930>830... And since the first two are older and plagued, the 830 seems to be the best all around Lumia right now to use until the flagship release..

So how many of you are LOVING the Microsoft Lumia "Affordable Flagship"

(I understand Nokia is on the front) 😉

The feel of a 830 is one of the best Lumia to hold in the hand, second only to the 720.
My camera died on me, so it's now my backup to a 1520. I have both running on W10, obviously the bigger phone wins hands down in almost all dept.... except pocketability. All in all the 830 is a pleasure to use...
Note: Mine came in aluminium casing, it became slightly bend in the middle... I blame my back pocket for this !!

...!!

Still love my 830 and it's still running smoothly like on the day I bought it. No complaints whatsoever...

Same here, running W10 like a charm. Been thinking about upgrading to the 950 or the Idol, but the 830 is in mint condition and works great, hard to let go :)
