Friday dinner pictures. Main dish - vegetarian pasta primavera. Was so-so. Shoestring fries - were awesome! Dessert was chocolate lava cake, made the trip to the restaurant worthwhile!

My mother uses it pretty much everyday....

That's interesting. The only time I use solar anything, is to get something to dry faster, like a wet shirt or boots. or somethng I've painted. I put it in the sun so it dries faster.

Dinner - Shared Nachos and Darts! Life is good!

I had a coupla of dinner pics.
They made the food not look very appetizing so I went no-go there.

One was BBQ filet steak with baked potatoes from last Friday.
Tonite was tequila wings.

I need to pose the meal plates a bit better.

Something I learned tonight while eating the nachos, I said to my wife, I wonder want brand tortilla chips they use, these are really good tortilla chip. My wife said, they make them here. I said, how do you know that? My wife said, its on the menu, they make them here fresh everyday. That's impressive.

There's a type of Tostito's we tried a while back.
I can't remember the package, yet they are the very thin light ones like Chevy's or Chili's serves.
When warmed first then gobbled with some good cilantro heavy homemade chilled salsa they are awesome!

Dang it now I want some corn chips with guacamole...dang me!

Thin and crispy...me a dummy.
Anyhoo I recommend if we don't want to do DIY cornchips (which are easy in a toaster or convection oven)

Yesterday's lunch. Couldn't decide on veg or meat, so had both. Two open sandwiches.

One with turkey and tomato. The other with roasted aubergine (egg plant) and avocado. The side there is wild rocket and the drizzle in the front is Vodka Mustard. Not very hot unfortunately.

Lunch was baked spicy potato cocktail samosas and stuffed bell pepper - rice, grated jack/cheddar cheese, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, lemon juice, red chilli powder topped with more grated cheese and baked to perfection!

Dinner was thin crust pizza - half tomato and half olive (my little one loves olives) and Crispy Potato Taco with some chips and hot habanero salsa Our favorite taco place in Ventura California has a pizza place next door, very convenient
