Nice creation mate.
I have since discovered somewhere in Brisbane to get what I need. Thanks. I rarely make it up there but will be soon for the Rolling Stones concert.
I have given up Mexican restaurants sadly. Nothing but slop so far. I can do better myself at home.

Yeah that's the sad truth about some restaurants. Montezuma's was a horrible place. I only went once and I was always surprised how busy the place was. I've only had good Mexican food in California. There was one South American (I know, generalization, I think it was Brazilian) restaurant I went to in north Brisbane that wasn't too bad. Brisbane has a fairly large population from South America continent.

I've got to add to this. If you have been to Italy and have had an authentic Italian pizza you know exactly what they taste like.

There's a lot of places in suburban Chicago to get pizza. Most are commercial chain pizza shops like, Pizza Hut, Domino's...etc.., 20 years ago when we moved to the suburbs, there were two family owned Italian pizza shops out of twenty by us that sold authentic Italian pizza. Both of those pizza shops have been sold several times and the pizza they produce now is no better that a 99 cent frozen pizza you buy at a grocery store.

That's just wrong... :(

I have eaten pizza in Italy, however we were in Rome so that doesn't really count. :p

There's a couple of good pizza places around here aside from the usual chains. Even the chains aren't too bad.

As a pizza junkie...
Had a tough time finding pizza in Northern Italy (Pordenone) I was not expecting Italian pizza to be what it was.
Gotta admit that every time I flew into or thru Chicago I ran to the food court to get a slice from the brick oven place.

I know there were better places around outside the airport, yet that pizza was junk food heaven!
Now I wanna fly to Chicago... :grincry:

When I make my way to Chicago again I'll have to ask you were to go for pizza. Don't tell me now as it probably won't be for some time. :p

The pizza I had in Rome wasn't bad but I really want to go to the capital of pizza, Naples.

In Chicago the best place to go for pizza is Taylor street. It's known as Little Italy.

Today on thus Thursday afternoon I decided to eat a taco plate . It consists is brown beams with cheese, orange rice, and the tacos were with salsa , carne Asada ( grilled meat ( beef)** ) cilantros, and onions. To top it off with limes
The beans were on the salty side more than I prefer , the rice was excellent, the meat was a little flavorless but there was still some kick to it

** for rue who told me to specify what meat it is 😉
