Lunch-preparation for today's studying session: 3-layered sandwiches with pickles, creamy, hardboiled eggs with mayo-mustard and saut?ed onions (which turned out to be burnt), tomatoes and some kind of lunch meat I always foget the name of. I got kinda carried away while preparing them and ended up needing 1h from start top end (boiling them eggs, burning them onions,...^^).

Always wanted to try these. Sadly no one makes them here in OZ & i would have little luck in finding the Masa Harina.

Where in Oz are you? There were a few Mexican restaurants in Brisbane. I can't say anything about Sydney or Melbourne but I wouldn't be surprised to find some there.
 
So, we made this over the weekend. Was our first attempt.

It was supposed to be a vegan version of a Benoffee Pie. A Benoffee Pie is crust, caramel, bananas and cream.

We created one with mostly vegan ingredients, where we missed was with the base, it has chocolate in it using butter oil. So this is a chocolate base, vegan caramel, bananas and a coconut cream top. Was very filling.

I have since discovered somewhere in Brisbane to get what I need. Thanks. I rarely make it up there but will be soon for the Rolling Stones concert. :cool:
I have given up Mexican restaurants sadly. Nothing but slop so far. I can do better myself at home.
