Just upgraded to 10, questions/problems with photos. Onedrive sync and Favorites?

I just upgraded my 928 to 10 mobile. I found the area where sync to onedrive can be enabled, but none of the pictures are being uploaded. There was also no way to set the quality of the photos either. Am I missing something obvious or is there another area I need to go to to turn this function one. Also, in Windows 8, I could select favorite photos that would cycle through the live tile. Can this still be done? Thanks

Open the photos app > tap ellipsis (three dots) > settings > set option under "Tiles"

To favorite a photo.. open the individual photo and tap op the heart icon.. Not sure if you can do this for multiple photos at once

Seems like an odd thing to remove as an option. The bigger issue is not syncing with OneDrive. If I can't get that sorted out, I'll have to revert back I guess. Hopefully it will work in time. I think a lot of the apps much be updating in the background. Every time I reboot the phone it tells me new updates were installed. I'll give it a day and see what happens. Thanks

Favourites is there under Folders view. Anyway, the old Photo app was way faster and less chunky than this IOS piece of copy. Is there any nice photo gallery for Wp10?

Weird.. I'll add a few pics to fave and check it out for you.. As of late I also had issues with pictures uploading. Think it's a problem with the app and not the OS.

Check if your upload settings are set correctly. Turn them off and set them again. Take a pic, give it a few minutes and check if it uploaded.

Sorry, the problem was that I didn't give the phone time to download all of the updates. Today when I tried it my photos were uploading to onedrive with no problem and there was an update to the photo app that added the Favorite option that was not there last night. It was taking longer than I expected and some of the options appear to have needed the phone to reboot also. So far things are going ok for me on Windows 10 with the 928. Hopefully it works out ok since I don't have many options to go with on Verizon. If I can get another year out of this phone maybe they will have something for me to upgrade to. Thanks for the help.

And here I already had my favorites running across the tile.. but I'm happy your issues are resolved. Which build are you on?

Looks like I'm on 10586.107. I was actually expecting it to be 10586.164. I checked for updates and there were none. Build 10586.164 is the build going out to phones eligible for the upgrade. I had to use the insider program to get 10. Do I need to be on the slow ring to get 10586.164? Thanks

Fast are reserved to WIn10 born phones. Others must use slow and release

I thought slow and release were on 10586.164. The fast ring on the Win10 born phones was on a Redstone build I thought? I obviously could be remembering wrong though and probably am since I'm on release and have 10586.107.

Exactly, fast is on Redstone for people who wants to try it.
Slow and Release are on .164 now, and standing by next update (maybe .200)

(550, 650, 950 and xl can use slow too if owners are unsatisfied)

Yeah, that was what I thought but ended up with .107 on release. I just swtiched to slow and not have .164 available. From what I read, .164 seemed like the better build and will plan on moving to it tonight. So far so good on the 928. Haven't ran into any problems yet.

When I was on production ring, I had .107 and had to move to slow to get .164 and was still available as of last night.
