Kickstand Question

So I got a surface 2 over Xmas and was just curious if other peoples kickstand was similar to mine....

On the first position it is rock solid with very little wiggle. At the second position there is a bit of play in it. As in I can flex it back a little where the hinges run in their guides. All it means is when I extend to the second position and put it down on a surface the stand opens a little more.

I'm assuming this is normal as it looks like its just the centre pin thing running through the curved channel of the hinge and so is like this by design... just wanted to check though!

Nope, mine doesn't do that. Solid as a rock.

My Surface 2 doesn't even really have a middle position. It just kicks out...

You mean your first position ala the original surface doesn't really work?

Seems there is quite some variation in this. Anyone else similar to any of us?
