Wtfffff m getting jealous at you people!!! Wtfff is wrong with my Lumia 925 ! It lasts for 4 hours only! All apps are not allowed for background! Only WhatsApp is allowed! Still my battery is getting drained 1% per 2-3 minutes! This is so crazy!! Please someone help me!!!!

It's WhatsApp. Pathetic hack API app. I don't use it.

For people who believe theres an improvement, did you hard reset the device without a restoral or are you using the initial install?

No hard reset after this update. My original 8.1 upgrade was vanilla with fresh start.

I thing that its improved . I am with 7 hours at 40%. With wifi and data connection on and streaming music watching an 45' episode online , 30' YouTube , surfing the internet and tapatalk on wpc forums

Off charger at 7:30 am 300 text, 2 10 minute calls and 30-45 min of web and I just hit 90%. Looking good so far. AT&T 1520

If first one didn't change anything, this one won't. Change email sync times and remove WhatsApp for couple of days to see.

It's very normal. I go through roughly same amount daily. Sometimes more if indulged in group texting. Not everyone is a fan of WhatsApp

Battery life is awesome! Running for 20 hrs with 60% left... That update just nailed it!

Update complete, the update has increase the battery life on the phone. You don't need to reset anything, it just takes a while to update. It will seem like the progress bar is stuck but later in the update the progess bar will move very quickly.

I had already changed the email sync to manual, and I don't have WhatsApp.

Don't see why you won't get good battery. With 8.0 I used to keep location off but today entire day I had location on and still came home after 11 hours with 51% battery left. I'm more than just impressed with this new update.

The issue with battery saver reporting wrong charge percentage still exists, it had been stuck on last charged back 1 hour ago status even after probably 5-6 soft resets, battery life hasn't improved either. Btw I'm on an unlocked Lumia 920

My battery life is definitely worse on my 521. It's very obvious.

Battery life is better on my Lumia 1020. I did a hard reset and also I noticed that the battery saver now shows internet explorer doesn't have background option toggle.

Battery life instantly improved on my Lumia 920. I was using it for a pretty good bit of time today and the battery drained at a pretty slow rate. I'm very happy with the update.
