It is possible to have cortana with multiple keyboard. I have both English and Chinese on my keyboard. You just need to move English(United states) to the top under the language (not keyboard) options in the settings menu

Text selection - when you tap and hold over the word to edit the text. Prior to WP9.1 we were able to see the blue cursor above the word and animate down, now it shows up under my finger and hard to see.

You can still do it but changed a bit. Try tap & hold the word then when the cursor appears, release your finger. Then tap and hold the "small circle" below the cursor, swipe down a bit then you can drag/animate again while the cursor stays above.

I hate the fact that the tiniest swipe down from the top brings up the whole action centre, a short, quick swipe should bring up just the quick access settings (a long swipe would bring up all). If at the moment you want to see just the quick settings you have to slowly drag down from the top and carefully stop in the right place.

I would like the notification menu to be customizable. Instead of just texts, emails and phone calls. I should be able to see notifications from Instagram, Facebook, WP Central and other things.

Also, do not like the app list with all my games.

There is something that bugs me. Using a Lumia 720, when returning to start screen animations lag at times. And I think that's because of contact tile pictures. They are rendering last and the animation is not smooth anymore. I am thinking that a hard reset might resolve this...

Not really, if you have US English as your primary it should work

I get Notifications from FB and WPCentral apps.

The action centre shows Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and every single app that sends you a notification toast. You can also customize them to make different alerts from the settings pane. However, they must FIRST send a notification about something to show up in there.

I got the US keyboard when I changed my region to get Cortana but have now deleted it so I only have the UK keyboard and Cortana still works

Noticing the same, especially with pinned contacts. But also other tiles sometimes appear later.

Lack of any kind of file manager.

For me its the biggest problem of WP. The only function I really miss.

I'm still trying to get used to the "new way of doing things" in the people hub - it feels clunky to use the FB app compared to direct comments/like from WP8, but at least the FB app opens quickly and I can see how this could lead to the "hub" having integration with other services over time.

However, the thing that I've actually found the most annoying in the people hub was something I only actually discovered in WP8 a month or two back. When looking at a status update in "People" with a single link in it, in WP8 you could press to the lower left of the status update and it would open the link in IE. This function no longer seems to be there, so you need to actually click on the update and then click the underlined link in the next page. It's only a small thing, but I miss it! Is there another way to jump straight to a link in one press that I've not found?

HATED the fact they took out the neat text cursor feature they had.

(In 8.0: Long press in the textbox and hold to show it up, and you could "drop it" easily to any part of the text, seeing exactly where you'll do it, as the cursor positioned some pixels ABOVE were you held.)

Now it's like BuggyDroid, you try put your finger in a infimal cursor and can't precisely determine the cursor position, as your finger will obstruct the actual position.

For people with big fingers, sure it'll be a pain. Here I only managed to edit texts with one line, I can still swype my finger out of the way. But more than one line was impossible.

Summing it up: The new text cursor is a unadvancement. Doesn't worked well for me.

I miss my hubs ! photos music+video facebook integrations these were some of the great features of wp 8..now my phone doesn't feel unique, personal or beautiful like it was..still its not all ugly though..

Also I don't like i.e tabs be in multitasking view. With 6 tabs opened it simply destroys all apps I had opened. Since we're haven't true multitasking experience and all apps are almost suspended, make multitasking tabs unlimited!
