List here what you DO NOT like on 8.1.

Don't like the Games app, its slower and so is Music app.

The comma thing you mentioned can be fixed in Settings>Keyboard>Advanced

My Game Hub now does not shows any games in the collection. The error message is "Couldn't open that. Try again."
I tried sot reset by Power button and volume down. Game hub still does not shows the game in the collection. Rebooting also does not work.

Now my whatsapp pictures and videos found in "other pictures' folder, actualy there is already have a folder named "whatsapp". There is other trouble i cant attach new photos in whatsapp app because whatsapp does not found "other pictures" folder.

For me the exact opposite is true; one thing I love about 8.1 is having the Status bar always there. Maybe it comes from my familiarity with iOS & Android; I don't know.

I'm disappointed that in 8.1 emailing attachments didn't change. How is WP supposed to be taken seriously as a business tool?
Not sure if answered, but... in a Build Session, they showed where you could now attach any file of any size to emails. Perhaps, this function will not be enabled until general release.

The more I use 8.1 the less it feels like a WP. The hubs have been regulated to being placeholders for lousy apps. Everything is app based, the integration is gone. It really is a blow to the unique experience that WP offered. WP8.1 is currently smoked by WP8 and even WP7 when it comes to these things which is pathetic and backwards. I welcome the awesome additions, but did they really have to remove so much as well? I find the Me tile to be useless. Check-ins and status updates just forward me to Facebook (linked in surprisingly still is integrated), which just has me pin my Facebook app and remove the Me tile. The People hub has been turned into a contact list since if you interact with anything in it you just get booted to the Facebook app. What's the point of even having a me tile and people hub? I have both unpinned because they are easily/forcibly replaced by Facebook (which is slower to load). If I need a contact then I have them pinned or just access it from the dialer (which still does not have smart dialing). Its a shame because the news feed in people hub looks improved over before, but has become redundant. Music has been stated over and over again, its horrible, especially if you have a lot of music that isn't even in the store but the store thinks it is and throws some crap on your music. This can't be turned off... so I'm using Nokia Mix Radio. Photos still don't have album creation, so its still impossible to organize photos, and we also lose the central place to see photo updates in a beautiful app.
Basically the things that worked beautifully well were gimped for no real reason. Also the way backgrounds are implemented is poor imo. My layout barely has tiles that the background image displays in, and I can imagine quite a few others are about the same. It looks really nice if you have the tiles that support it. I really wished they did it another way.

Not to rain on the parade of this thread, but I have to say, I was horrified from what I was seeing about WP8.1 based on this thread. Then I installed it. My experience has not been the experience one would expect from this thread. For example, the integration isn't gone, it's merely done differently! It's a lot more flexible. For example, in Photos, you might think that the Facebook and OneDrive links take you to apps. This isn't true! All they did was make it more obvious where you are getting photos from--that's an improvement, not a loss of feature.

The biggest single complaint I've seen is the FB integration. Ok, and yet, when you go to comment or like something from the People hub, the new FB app opens INSTANTLY. It's ridiculously smooth and fast even on my old L920, let alone my L1520.

Anyway, I think that most of the griping in this thread comes down to "they moved my cheese" even if the cheese was moved just a few inches away. The one thing that does seem to have sucked is the Xbox Music app, but we already have confirmation that will be fixed.

In short, despite reading this thread almost in its entirety, being super freaked out about leaping to 8.1, I'm now extremely happy with my choice. There's really nothing that's a large enough negative in 8.1 to justify NOT updating.

Take some time, poke around...chances are that the system isn't as massively changed as you think, it's just doing things in a slightly different way.

there was an option to only show FB events that you have replied to (or RSVP). that disappeared and now every single stupid random events my friend mass-invited me to is on my phone calendar. ridiculous!

That option is still there. There are multiple FB calendars you can check or uncheck. Attending and Invited are two separate calendars to display. Disable the Invited calendar and all is well.

Sometimes I wonder if the average person posting in this thread are using the same 8.1 that I am. On my 920.. My coma button was never missing. Facebook is about the same, if not better. After getting an official facebook app, id rather use that anyway. In the past i'd often accidently facebook someone when I wanted to text them. Games in the apps list and this nonsense shouldn't even be an issue anyway. It's so easy to get to an app you need. And the whole point of getting xbox music away from being built in the system was so it can be updated anytime. And since that xbox music app will be updated soon, along with facebook and twitter, I expect lots of things will work even better. And I've seen people say that they took onedrive out of the photo hub, that's just a big fat lie. Not only is it still there, but the photo hub now works way better with OneDrive. Before, I had like 50 albums, mostly beause of facebook and OneDrive. now I have my main 5 folders, and if I want to see one drive photos, I just click it. It doesn't even go into an app, it's still in the people hub.

So far though, my favorite thing is telling cortana to play a certain song or artist and it instantly loads the xbox music app and starts playing.

Actually I like how you move the cursor between letters better. It is a little easier. Put your finger on it, it will select it faster than before. Once you learn how to grab it, it is easier. Swype keyboard is cool to once you learn how.

Text selection - when you tap and hold over the word to edit the text. Prior to WP9.1 we were able to see the blue cursor above the word and animate down, now it shows up under my finger and hard to see.

Yeah it does feel like they are moving backwards

also I just want the wp7 music app back, this new one is seriously gonna start making me dislike WP considering how much I listen to music. I have been on WP since 2011

OneDrive photo hub is there. But try and upload an image to OneDrive. The option is gone.

You can either upload the image from within the OneDrive app or go to the people hub Swype right a couple of times and create a new room and then it will appear in the share option in the photos hub and then it'll uplaod to OneDrive for you
