Lumia 1520 battery life ?

Just bought the lumia 1520 , and im watching the battery life of this phone , it dropped from 100 % to 90 % in 5 hours standby !!! Without touching the phone
Is this normal , i thought this phone was the best about battery life

Usually nokia phones will have good battery backup compared to other models. Did you charge the phone properly?

That's normal for lumia range ! 2% idol time. Your phone running in the background even when not in use. Go to the app "battery saver" and see what's running and turn of apps from there that you don't use will help with battery life a little.

Did you have anything running in the background? How many apps do you have running (press <- to see how many apps are running also go to battery saver and see notifications and apps allowed to run in background)..Lumia 1520 and Z2 are probably the best battery life phones (and I have been through practically all phones)...Also did you use the phone before leaving it idle ? Surfing, watching video - eat battery life a lot on all phones.

Properly ? ,, actually i bought it and started it right away it was at about 35 % played with it for about 45 minutes then it dropped to about 21% !!!!!
I charged it full , then slept for 5 hours and here we go , 90 %

Well i checked the apps in the background , there were like 10 apps including 6tag and uc browser and youtube hd , others ..
I turned off most , left only facebook and whatsapp ,
I hope my battery isnt broken !!

It will take a few recharge cycles to get it to full battery life - have you checked it is fully updated?

Also if an app isnt running in the background , that means i wont recieve a notification from it ?? And i have to open the app itself to see the notification

Have you gone in to the settings menu, then phone update, then check for updates? That will make sure you have the latest firmware which should give you the best battery life.

Facebook whatsapp are battery hogs in the background. Seen a number complaints about these apps. Check how often they sync !!
