Lumia 521 update problem.

Hi everyone I have a
T-Mobile Lumia 521
I don't have service on it
I have home Wi-Fi
Tried updating it to Cyan for three days straight
It keeps saying it downloaded the update but can't open it
This is getting annoying
My brothers Lumia 520 updated fine so did my Lumia 925

Perhaps you should clean up a bit.. Freeing up some space might help.. Back up your pictures and music to a pc and delete the ones you have on the phone

I have 4.8 GB of free space
And like always keep getting
The update was downloaded, but couldn't be opened. (800700d)

Unmount, power down and remove your microSD card. Restart the 521 and apply update.

You could also try to install new firmware but that should be a last resort

I give up lol damn 521 it's just a backup phone anyway really wanted to update it.

Updates are known to fail with microSD mounted...

Tried the Recovery Tool Lumia 521 works awesome now and more speedy.
