Thank you for the fast answer. I hope it won't tend to happen more often in the future. That has happened to me on my 640 too. If it hasn't happened much, I would say probably not to worry about it. For me, it happened so often that I had to send it in for repair. MS replaced something, but I'm not sure what. Since getting it back, it hasn't happened much at all, so I don't know.
I've found this:
in data sense when I set ( limit background data ) ON and ALWAYS the notifications works fine and vise versa It doesn't work whe I set limit background data to OFF !!
It stills a problem cause I can't use Whatsapp for example when I set limit background data ON

steadydon, since you posted the same exact problem to another thread already, I am merely linking my response to the other one here.
Hey there,
Recently my sister bought herself a lumia 640xl but it has the dreaded surprise reboot bug. I've tried everything at this point with no success (soft reset, hard reset, new sim card, no sim card, put the sim in slot N2, with/without sd card, a different sd card, the phone's up to date and no new updates were found). Found a microsoft fix it thingy a couple of days back, ran it for like a 30 minutes then it decided to stop because "the repair process took to long so we decided to stop it" and now i'm blessed with a nice "your phone cannot be repaired". We're thinking about returning it since she's still within her 14 days grace period. I'm quite appaled by the fact that microsoft released something so unreliable into the market (the thing reboots mid conversation, really practicall). Is there something i can do if the place she bought it decides that the "phone is fine" and refuses to give the money back?
