Initially I thought its memory issue so i uninstalled few apps to make 1.1 GB available but still same prpblem.

Smart cam has been removed by Nokia as they are bringing pro cam for all lumia devices. Smart cam I heard is ****ty.

i know how to install via proxy but why we have to use proxy to install nokia smart cam when nokia promised smart cam app for lumia 720.

This is weird Tried to restart and try again.

I tried restart but didn't work. Nokia support said that you need to do Factory reset. I think thats the last resort.

Contacted Nokia Care Chat, said update will depend on carrier.
And I am on a sim free/unlocked device, I disconnected the chat as I don't like BS.

Try to pull-out your sim card, perform a soft reset then search for update through WiFi without sim inserted

That's the lamest things to do , will try though.
But I feel my carrier has noting to do with the update as the update will be pulled from Nokia's server and not Voda's.

Amber update OTA is on in my L720. Will it delete all of my contacts, messages, apps.>?

And what about cam performance after amber update. I am pretty happy with camera now.

Nothing gets deleted if you update through OTA...!
Camera, havent tried yet..but u can see thru other thread on it

downloaded via OTA but stuck at preparing to install at 100% since 20 minutes!! I

Edit:Ok the cog wheels started rotating.

Okay it approximately took 12-13 minutes to intsall the update

plz check if your version is 1030.6409.1311.0002 only then you will get update through OTA.

I have installed the Amber update to my lumia 720. but the problem is, after the update the phone is in a restarting mode. It just shows the Nokia startup screen and again it gets restart. I tried soft reset many times, no use. Hard reset is not working. Can anyone please help me regarding this.
