Lumia 720 AMBER update INDIA release date 12-Aug-2013

Ya I know it looks like it, but since the Indian Nokia Care seems more chatty than the Dutch, they might know a little bit more as well. And since everyone is asking them the same on the chat right now, maybe someone could ask a slightly different question.

I wouldnt trust the nokia cate people in india. They generally are not well informed. I would advise you to take all of this with a pinch of salt unless actual updates start showing up.

This is bad information , one of my friend in delhi with white lumia 920 got the update notification . It seems to be running in batch so i am waiting. Your post suggests that there is no OTA for white/black which is totally wrong.

I just checked the Nokia Care Suite. both Red and Yellow 920s still show the same version, are you sure your friend got the update?

dude its true nokia is sending ota update slowly. but its also true that in 920 first update will only come to yellow, then rest other model. and ur friend who got ota notification, its must be either some other update or amber. make sure u check it properly what update came. as dere is no news abt white and black ota update, so i mentioned about service center update
