I told that already.
Now, don't insulate 4 pins, yust REMOVE wireless chrging module completely from the back of L920 and the thing is solved.

have you verified this solution? Have you seen it in other forum or something?

I'll sen You a complete video with disassembling L920 and my post on Serbian Bechmark Forum and with little enthnusiasm You'll succeed.

Display connector no any sense with wireless module ;)
All done and it's still allive!

Be careful when closing the phone cover to not squash some flat cable (usb/sharge/mic flat cable or something else eg.)

I renounce any and all liability arising out of failure by trying this modding!!!

As first, there is a LINK how to open and disassembly L920. Watch couple of times to see details, before beginning...
All You need is to insulate red marked 4pin contacts from wireless charger module as picture shown .
On my L920, first i insulate them but second, i completely remove TDK wireless charging module (with coper coil weight 50g) and now, my phone is "ligh weight" as L925 and battery have longer duration (all one day)
That's for me and my terms of phone use (don't know for Yours using and environment).

Will this work for me?What is the reasoning behind this method?
Reason in behind are the L920 non stop checking wcm (wireless charging module) if there charging or not and spend battery power on that checking...
I think that Your problem is some background app discharging phone power. Is it a little bit wormer or pure cold when discharging?
My L920 is a little warmer than usual when background app discharge it.
Think about processes on Your L920.

No,its not warm when it discharges unless its a heavy process. I only use the USB charger and never the wireless one. Discharge is nil if there's no usage but heavy on even simple usage. My major background processes are off. How do I know if the battery is bad or its a software error?

Woho! After about two months of ~3,3-4,5% drainage, the double than I had before the rise, I'm down to ~1.4% again. Soon two days with some GPS, a lot of music, some surfing and internet sharing and I still have 33% or one day left. Three days is really good if you ask me.

The only thing I did was updated a bunch of apps and uninstalled some unused ones. The biggest suspect so far is, the huge disappointment, Civilization Revolution that I got rid of around the time of improvement.

Please help me out.I really need a good battery life. And my phone does get kinda warm.
If you turn on airplane mode does the phone cool off? I have found that sometimes something gets stuck on and with phone will get warm above the camera. That is where the heat sink is for the internal memory and/or processor. If turning on airplane mode makes the phone go cold then it might be that the cell and/or wireless signal your phone is connecting with is such that the phone can't be very efficient. I seem to recall that I had battery issues early on and after something was changed with AT&T's towers or service suddenly had better battery life. If you have a similar situation maybe airplane mode will help you determine if that might be the issue.

Have you let the phone run one full discharge cycle until the phone shuts off? If not you might need to do that to help the battery capacity measurement chip to calibrate properly. It is worth a try. After I did that with my first 920 the battery percentage was much more stable. Now I rarely get a jump in percent on a reboot and if I do it is usually to a higher percent.

I rarely use mobile data so I think its not the problem. I tried it anyway and it didn't help. When I play hill climb racing or subway surfers,it heats up and cools down when I stop. The battery drains on simple usage and if I stop using it,it drains a little more then stops at a stable point. It feels like it can hold charge but cant handle simple usage.

I wouldn't call playing a racing game "simple usage." That does drain the battery quickly. If you don't play any games but otherwise use the phone will it last all day? If so then it isn't the phone.

But seriously speaking, I notice HEAVY discharge when using Internet explorer. Example. If my phone is at 100% , and I use IE to browse facebook ( I prefer the .touch version to the app , not sure why ), maybe one or two visits to Phonearena if there is an intersting article, sometimes WPCentral, it would spiral down to 88%. Have done what I could do to extend battery life. But now, I have given up on all those and try to live with it until I switch phones. :(
