M8 and Windows 10

I will not be installing it on day one on my m8. I will install on my old 928 and see how stable it is.

From what I understand, the Dev Preview Program is going away and being merged into the Insiders program. This is to eliminate the need to send developers to two different spots to work their universal apps. It's a much easier way to distribute everything to devs and doesn't require multiple resources to have it happen.

PS - the leak on XDA is not an official VZW ROM, it appears to be a test build. Also, unless it is a fully signed MS/HTC RUU, you can't flash it. The one that was posted earlier on was a spam-ware link from China or something. It was not good.

That said, I'll be updating to Win 10 as soon as possible. I think the Insider release will be slower to come to non-Microsoft devices, but I'm hoping sooner than later it will be here.

No, I believe that they would not get the next update. Having done some testing in the past, these are usually locked ROM's that will not accept OTA updates. That said, I don't know how the Insider program will work yet for mobiles, so it's hard to say what will and won't work going forward.
