Just checked with Nokia Care Centre, they said the official updater for Amber and GDR2 for Nokia Lumia 620 in Malaysia will be available before end of Sept

which country..?
all u have to do is to click start..packge will be verified...there 'll be a message on screen to connect ur phone and click retry...that is tricky part...hold vol down and power button..until screen goes blank...now release button u 'll feel vibration..hold them again and eventually click retry..hold both buttons until u see nokia logo in bold than a progress bar..if not then try again..

Is there a product code for an unbranded/unlocked Lumia 620? With Amber update available, of course.

I've only found two product codes rm-846 and rm-846x. I do not know the difference but I'm gathering that there is pretty much just one product code for the world which is rm-846 and then individual carrier branding is applied on top of that. It doesn't seem to be like the 920 which has 3 variations to deal with LTE band differences.

this rom is for rm-846..no other variant...i don't know it 'll work or not..

i cannot get past the part right after you select recovery where it asks for the code. I have the latest version of nokia care (2013 something)

Oh, one thing..... I actually can't change the regional format. It always stuck on "Sweden". I changed it with anything else, restart, and still "Sweden".
Any advice ??

I installed the most recent software and followed the steps instructed in the tutorial.
But I'm stuck on finding my device's code -see first attachment.
What's strange is that if i choose the refurbish option then the product code is shown -the second attachment. Any help on this?

You need to enable hidden folders. go to control panel > appearance and pers. > click show hidden folders > check the box that says "show hidden files and folders "
