There is a new update, newer than 10536, it just came through today 9/21/15 at 7pm. It is downloading now as I speak. I didn't get the build number, because I was so excited to get a relief from 10536. You Fast Ring folks should be getting it any moment now.

So far not impressed. It almost seems like a step backward on my 1520. It took many tries before it would even install correctly - often hanging during the download process. Apps are continually being flagged as new or updated when they aren't really so it keeps trying to re-download the same apps over and over. Some apps keep erring on download. There is a Settings->System/notifications panel called storage that is now tagged as zstorage and crashes settings if launched. And what the heck happened to the toggles to disable weather alerts and amber alerts? They used to be in messages but now they are gone (is that a WP 10 thing in general?).

All in all I am less than impressed so far. It feels so much klutzier and inconsistent and buggy than 8.1 felt, and don't even get me started on Windows 10 bugs on the SP3. Overall the move to Windows 10 has been unpleasant at best.

Yes... This was a step backwards for Windows 10.. it is very unreliable in my Lumia 920 and not as sooth in my Lumia 1520 Cant wait till Gabe fixes the bugs... really bad Build.

This build is good but 'loading...' is main issue for me, they must fix this loading thing before release.

Hum! Good to hear that, which handset? I'm on L535, maybe RAM issue, but I think 1GB is enough for basic OS functions. I updated from WP8.1 and did not hard reset, should I try hard resetting it?

Could be RAM related because I'm on 930 at the moment and it is the fastest win device but I have 536 on my 925 as well and didn't notice loading issue as well, although I'm not using that phone so much, just for testing purpose so ...

Okay, kind of an esoteric report, I guess. But I've effortlessly upgraded to 10536 on my Lumia 810. The updates both went quickly, without a hang up and without resetting my phone! And now my phone runs crisply and reliably with far fewer "loading" screens. This is easily the best W10 Mobile experience I've had. So that's weird. But it's great for me!

Still having random hotspot and wifi drops where rebooting is the only recourse.

I got it after an hour of LOADING...seems to be still an issue ...... but it seems the hideous draining of the battery is gone I was losing power like it was going out of style

my phone suddenly restarted .. now whenever i open any app it restarts... cant even reset my phone... windows phone recovery also not working ... time always resets back to 9:59 AM 18th sept....
Anyone else have this problem ???

Yes , the windows store logo shifts towards bottom left while opening the store. using lumia 820

This build, while it fixes some major features not working, I feel has way more small bugs. SMS messages don't always show up, email notifications fail to show, animations are not smooth or are jerky right at the end of moves, and many many other small things that just make the whole OS feel very unfinished and unpolished!
I hope they fix this soon...not long till release....but they will probably launch with TH1 not TH2 anyway
so really we are using an OS that's past release now...

Lumia 920 battery performance is actually improved. Last night I tried a little test. On WM8.... If I left my phone unplugged overnight, it would be completely dead in the morning. Last night I left it unplugged and had 58% battery this morning. Nice!

5 weeks ago I upgraded my Lumia 1020 to the 10512 build. Turned out to be unworkable. Loading loop, missing functionality, crashes. Thus within a few days I felt forced to recover to the 8.1 public release.

Yesterday I'd decided to give the 10536 a try. Overall it does not look too bad. I really do like the similarities with the Windows 10 on PC. But still experiencing some Loading ... issue at startup. Also sometimes longer delays when unlocking. Performance has improved, but should be better in these situations. Once activated it's running smooth. Functionality is now complete enough to even consider daily usage of this preview build.

It's clear Microsoft's policy is to kill all Nokia Lumia specific inherited goodies. Counterside of being Insider on a 1020 is not be able anymore to take that it's camera to the limits.

My opinion is bouncing between missing my perfect highend 1020 cameraphone and enjoying one Windows 10 experience on all my devices (desktop, laptop, surface and now also phone).

Has anyone installed lastest wm10 preview build on any low end device

Blu Win HD. Only problem is sometimes when the screen times out, I can't get it to come back on, and have to soft-reset the device.
