so i got the shot from the nexus, this is the indoor one.
its there in comparison with a couple of lumia 920 shots.

i have no idea how to add these to be viewd without a link. :s
Lumia 920:
Wrong white balance, foggy image (may be smudged lens). Also, after Black update, the images tend to be highly proceeded with so much noise reduction at high ISO and greenish cast, now that's a valid downside.
Nexus 5:
Beside better White Balance and no color cast, I won't say it's a better photo :| Really smudgy details and not as sharp as L920 by miles. Are you sure he/she focused on right subject?

totally agree with this... do you think the white balance is because of the powerful chip the nexus 5 has? its a way more advanced CPU.
Well, I don't think it has anything to do with CPU but mostly because of software issues.
Nokia ruined the photo processing from Amber and kept decreasing picture's quality since then till this Black. I really hope they fix it with Cyan.
Don't need. I did the test Portico vs Black:Please stop with these "losing quality". Someone here wrote an excellent clarification of the noise reduction process. You just have to trade blows to get a good picture, if that would't be the case raising sharpness in PS etc, would give you on any photo excellent quality but that isn't the case.
Every phone (even other OS's but they don't have preview enable before pp) when taking a picture have to do the pp to generate the best possible details as well as lowest noise.
Portico didn't solve anything, neither is it way better then black if you don't agree please be my quest and find in Lumia920 section where someone shoot Portico/Black picture and you'll see what " to much sharpness does vs some real detail " (except for black color, most of the time they get ruined).
Burst Mode have noise 'cause is low-resolution and... is burst mode, hight ISO, etc. But look to colors...It's called post-processing. Of course you will lose some quality (and Nokia Camera actually shows you how it's happening).
After you take a picture, the phone is processing the image, so the result will be a compressed JPEG file.
There are a lot of different algorithms to encode in JPEG, either software or hardware processing, and Cyan is supposed to bring improvements in this encoding for PureView devices.
If you want BEST PICTURES EVER - get a 930/Icon/1520/1020 and do RAW pictures, w/o ANY losses, and process them yourself.
Edit 1: The burst mode has a ton of noise FYI.
