my lumia 720 is not charging

it only display drained battery symbol when i attach charger, i charged it for 3 - 4 hours but its still not turning on, i tried to soft restart it but it didnt work

This could be a problem with your phone or the usb port of your phone or your charger.
So please try another charger, or USB cable or connect it to your PC to see if it then will charge.
