It means windows servers are getting more update requests.. have to wait for some more dates for Amber update it seems..

Talked with Nokia care executive he said Amber will be released basing on our RM version.. He also told me to wait for some more days for it..

Hi all,
my lumia 620 running on 1030.6407.1307.0001. firmware version and have manually tried to update the firmware through Settings->phone update->check for update and it shows me Nokia update available for windows phone.Also ask me for postpone or install option. So have click on install and my phone restart and it start to install some update through 4 stage and again started my phone and it shows update done.But when i check the firmware version then it's same as previous one. So what update done? from where i get amber update?
Please help me to update my phone.

yes it's completely same. and have again tried to update manually but same process repeated.Have any one successfully updated lumia 620 with amber update? if so the please send detailed procedure for it.Thanks in advance.

Since we have waited so much time, we must wait a bit more. OTA is more safe way than NSU. Don't take risk. Its not like formatting windows

Guys,
If your device is having FW version 1030.6407.1308.0001 , then it won't show update notification (I don't know why).
On the other hand, If you got an FW version 1030.6407.1308.0002, your phone will show the amber update notification if you check it through phone updates (in settings menu).

There is a way to get around this,
Get Nokia Care suite and update to FW version 1030.6407.1308.0002

Waited a long time.. Will wait some more time for OTA update.. Guys.. Don't flash your devices through NSU or Nokia Care.. Wait for safer OTA.. Talked with Nokia care executive for 2nd time he said it will be available based on our RM version.. Wait for it..

Somebody plz guide me on how to flash gdr2 on 620 via Nokia Software Updater for retail.......i have downloaded the firmware...what will happen if i flash,how long will it take,etc... Thanks
