Nokia Transfer My Data with Dell Venue Pro

So I'm trying to use the app to get data off my DVP. Was able to pair them (saw the PIN on both screens), but it never connected. Restarted both phones, still getting a connection error. Just tried reinstalling the app. Still no luck.

Anyone have success with a 920 and a DVP?

I doubt it can be done. WP7 phones -- except maybe for Nokia's own devices -- didn't support the Bluetooth profiles needed for this to work.

Have same issue with an iphone4. Was never able to resolve it so I manually entered my contacts. PIA.

Thats lame. The description makes it sound like it works with anything, android and ios as well.

iPhone 4 should always work with Transfer my Data. Make sure that the device is set to discoverable (inside the Bluetooth menu). If it doesn't work, keep trying and/or toggle Bluetooth on/off on both devices and/or reboot both devices. All Android phones should work. Dell Venue Pro and other Windows Phone 7 devices will not currently work but you can synch your contacts with your Live account.
