It's not like AT&T had been much faster, didn't they just push cyan out today for most of their phones?

Verizon really thinks because they have a slight edge over AT&T in total subscribers, that puts them as the No. 1 provider in the US, that they have this attitude and it shows. I hate having to go into a Verizon store for anything, because we use Verizon at work whenever I want to swap phones or need something, I can hardly get any assistance from anyone once they know two things 1) I'm not there to buy a phone or add a line, and 2) I'm a business account customer. Verizon customer service is really terrible, actually they suck.
to complete your vzw retail store experience i'll suggest telling them:
3)you have a windows phone, not an iphone or a droid, and then you will experience the full force of the "a+ customer service" at your local vzw store
I'll reiterate. If my icon doesn't have Cyan by the end of Saturday, my next phone will have the AT&T death star on it.

Seriously? Stop acting like a spoiled child. There are plenty of worse things in the world than not being first in line for a firmware update for your phone.
I think Apple got it right in one aspect... They control the hardware AND the software updates. I think MSFT/Nokia should at least adopt this model for Lumia phones.

The update is live!! At least I think so. Just got a notification about having an update ready to be installed.
When I had my Droid, Google announced kit Kat 4.4 and a week later Verizon upgraded my phone to 4.2
