Nokia is showing 10xx.xx.xxxx as current version and "Lumia amber update" as coming soon.. Lumia amber update is bundled with Gdr2, New Amber features need Gdr2 to work that's why they are not mentioning Gdr2 anywhere, in simple words Amber cant work without Gdr2 that's why they both are coming soon together on ur lumia L20
Amber + Gdr2 = 3046.0000.1329.2001

Thought of waiting for OTA but since the other storage is almost increasing like anything in my L520 and since it is said that GDR2 update has fixed other storage, i think its better to start the phone fresh and so I am going to update through NSU. And anyone with updated L520 find whether the other storage problem has been fixed?? Whenever i install the app and even after uninstalling the app, a large amount of memory is still not removed. Is it fixed?. Can someone with updated L520 try it by installing and uninstalling a app?

It's not available for 520.

No one except a few on AT&T

That's very disappointing given that they advertised the feature for the L520. Hopefully Nokia will get this sorted out soon.

Is my phone already updated?

I have same problem. Whats the reason? I guess I should wait for OTA update.

I don't think so its completely fixed... but still its improved
before update I'd 1.6gb of others storage but now with same apps n games installed my others storage is 780mb
so you should definitely flash your phone instead of waiting for ota.. after flashing, my phone is working faster than before :wink:

Yeah, i noted this on the last page as well ..

but is it available OTA or did you use the nokia suite thing on PC ? as of yesterday there was no update over the air for me at least.

Just upgraded to amber via phone update.

Im on o2 in the uk. The weird thing is it says online that for o2 in uk is "awaiting approval" but it popped up last night.

I have datasense, flip to silence, ability to assign camera button to different apps, lumia colour profile, block calls and sms and a few other little things.

Yes Amber/GDR2 firmware will be 3046.0000.1???.100?, when the update is available for your carrier or your "country variant" if your phone is unlocked ..
