I have the option to update my 720 from software version 1030.6409.1311.0001 to 3046.0000.1334.0002.
Should I take it? I'm using NCS and downloading the image right now.

This update is the Amber update. But you'll lose all your apps and data by doing so.

No problem with that, I have already done the backups. But I'm using NCS 2013.1.4 not the latest 2013.20.5 because the Nokia update servers for NCS are reaaaallly slow, while the Amber update is at full speed. There won't be a problem using an older version of NCS, yes?

After installing Amber in my 720 with NSU I have an error whenever I attempt to install te voice package or keyboard in the update my phone option. It shows me: We can't searh updates now (80072ee2). I have made a soft reset and a hard reset, the error remains.

It has no problems loging to Facebook or browsing, just updating is the problem. Any help?

Hi Luis.
I also had an 80072ee2 error after Amber update. It was really annoying and I struglled with this error for two days. I hard reseted, I even reflashed it twice. Somehow now is working properly. I don't know exactly what was wrong. I think it was because of their servers or because of my router (which I discovered afterwards that is losing connection from time to time).

Hey ,

I'm trying to update my Lumia 720 in India using NSU (3.0.8). The update version is 3046.0000.1334.0001 , so its amber. It has downloaded the update correctly but whenever I'm trying to install, its showing internal error, but no error code.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have updated my phone to Amber. Everything is fine. The error mentioned may be due to data network problem or server problem.

I have updated my L720 using NSU for retail 2 days ago. Everything works fine except for the fact that I cannot seem to turn off my phone. Every time I try to shut it down, the device starts up again immediately, anybody know why? I have already re-flashed it, but it still happens

I installed all needed drivers and other stuff it requested. Can someone help me out? I'm dying to get Amber and I really want to do it via NSU now.

I updated to Amber on Windows 8 Pro x64 too via NSU and it worked fine for me. Do you have WinUSB Drivers x64 installed from Nokia?
