Wooohoooo!!!
Finally, the Amber Update has reached Lumia 820 Country Varinants in the UK!!!

Update mine today and it seems to be OK.

For some reason the battery seems to be lasting a lot longer. Will update this post after a few days of use.

I am also facing battery draining problems. It is losing 3%/hr at standby (no network WiFi). Anyone have such problems and possible solution? I did all battery saving measure and it don't seen to work.

I haven't noticed an issue with either, to be honest?

Care to expand on what issues you're having with audio?

After i update to amber OTA. I had a loudspeaker problem. After using the headphones, the loudspeaker will not function. But after a hard reset, everything returns to normal. After the reset, i did not install the audio and accesories update from the store and did not use my headset either, no loudspeaker problem since.

TBH 3% an hour seems like a low battery drain to me. Think about it, if you took your phone off charge at 7:00am and didn't touch it all day you'd still have 64% left at 7pm. That would seem pretty good to me for any smartphone and particularly the 820 with it's 1650mAh battery.

I'd say your battery drain is within the boundaries of normal.

Following on from this I've since updated my unbranded country variant Lumia 820 to GDR/Amber and have immediatly noticed an increasae in battery life. Took it off charge at 9:00am this morning and it's now at 81% at 13:30GMT. That equates to 4.2%/hr whic is more than the 3% you 're getting so I wouldn't be complaining if I were you. Mine has been used during this time as well - push email, several texts and a couple of quick phone calls.

My immediate impression is that batteyr life is definintely better.

Have you used some of the many free apps to ensure all the Nokia system apps are up to date??

I know i had about 5 apps to update once i flashed GDR2...

Its funny how they prioritize any other Lumias, such as 520 620 ... over 920/820 >_<

for example they changed status to "Comming soon" for L620 in Slovak/Czech country variant ...... such shame on Nokia for that
Lumia 620 Country variant 1030.6407.1308.0001

It's down to the carriers, not Nokia.

If you want Amber now, you can always update it manually using Nokia Software Updater.
