there is no big deal. Mine is always set to 15. you can set your master volume at whatever level you want.no restrictions on that.

If anyone want to update now, the firmwares are back on NCS. For those cooming soon too (like mine), so what does this mean ? Is cooming soon tomorrow and they got them on NCS one day before ?

I've updated my L920 through Nokia Software Updater for Retail... Works like a charm, except for the small lag on settings when (I think it's double tap or glance) is on.

Its double tap, the only solution is to turn it off and restart the phone.After that its smooth.

Now with this update I have a problem, I can't make calls through the handsfree, in portico I was able to do it checking the Headset option into the accessibility settings but now, It's gone :/
Can someone confirm this too?

I see CalDAV and CardDAV support was enabled with GDR2. However, can someone confirm that support was added only and explicitly for Google Sync, as they threatened to discontinue Exchange ActiveSync support for Google Accounts...

E.g. the CalDAV and CardDAV support can't be used for accounts other than Google accounts....

Or am I missing something?

Hi,
I am having trouble updating my Lumia 920 to GDR2/Amber. I am having an unlocked yellow Lumia 920 bought in India. I am currently using it in Sri Lanka with Dialogue SIM card.
I tried to update my phone yesterday night. However after the download reaches about 46% (sometimes 60%), it abruptly ends with an error msg - "The update couldn't be downloaded. (801881d0)".
I tried to do an update after a restart as well as after a soft reset, but the result is same.
My phone is connected to a wifi.

Any solutions?

Does anyone know why my apps are using so much storage space? They are doing this since I restored my phone after the update. (Lumia 920)

P.s. Also after the restore, it didn't recover the conversations of Viber and Whatsapp (isn't this a big problem?).

your total apps installed size is 1007 MB and after installing they do have data ( for instance saved games,whatsapp history,viber history).the app data is highlighted in light green colour and you have 29 mb of app data

The app data is already in light green; what I can't understand is the dark green: why do I have 49 Mb for viber if it deleted the conversations (as i said it didn't restore the history!)? 28 Mb for Foursquare? There is no data saved in Foursquare. It should be something else.

Also see Bing Weather (29 Mb???) Nokia Music (28MB? I have no music!), etc...

cahce files,i guess after app is installed it requires some more space.same happens in a pc .worry not dude its not a bug.this is a common issue.just try to remove temp files by storage checker.

if u have lumia pusher installed use that tool to update your nokia system apps to get this feature.(lumia pusher is not available).else wait for the update to be shown in your store.

As of August 18th various roms are again available on Nokia servers for anyone who has access for rm820, rm821 and various other devices. For those with rm-820 north American l920 the ATT dev rom has been updated to gdr2/amber
