Official Twitter app live-tile problem

Hi !

im using the official twitter app for my lumia 620 but have a problem with it.
I have turned tweet notifications on for some stuff i follow but the tile always shows a "1" even if there are 20 new tweets !
There is always just a "1" it never goes higher...

Is this a bug of the app itself or what ?
I did a quick search and it looks like im not the only one with this problem.

Notifications on the official Twitter app are garbage. And yes, that tile shows 1 regardless of how many notifications you have.
